Giftghcustom is committed to your complete satisfaction with our garden furniture repair and maintenance services. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and the materials we use. If you are not satisfied with our service, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your concerns.

2. Service Adjustments and Corrections

If you are not completely satisfied with the results of our service within 30 days of delivery, we will make reasonable adjustments or corrections at no additional charge. This may include:

  • Touch-ups or refinishing of treated areas
  • Additional protective coating applications
  • Addressing any missed spots or areas of concern
  • Re-treatment of furniture to meet quality standards
  • Replacement of defective materials or finishes

3. Refund Policy

Full Refund Conditions

We offer a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Service was not completed as agreed
  • Service quality does not meet our stated standards despite good faith correction attempts
  • Service was not performed due to circumstances within our control
  • Customer requests cancellation before work has commenced (100% refund)
  • Customer requests cancellation after work has begun but before completion (refund based on work completed)

Partial Refund Conditions

We offer partial refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Only a portion of the service was completed successfully
  • Customer cancels after substantial work has been completed
  • Materials were damaged during our service due to our negligence

Refund Exclusions

The following situations do not qualify for refunds:

  • Natural wear and tear that occurs after service completion
  • Damage caused by customer misuse or negligence after delivery
  • Failure to follow care and maintenance recommendations provided
  • Extreme weather damage occurring after service completion
  • Customer change of mind regarding color selection or finish preference
  • Damage from pest infestation or natural environmental factors

4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the refund request is approved. Depending on your financial institution, additional processing time (typically 3-5 business days) may be required for the funds to appear in your account.

5. Process for Requesting Service Adjustment or Refund

To request a service adjustment, correction, or refund:

  • Contact us within 30 days of service delivery
  • Provide detailed description of the issue with your furniture
  • Supply photographs or documentation if applicable
  • Specify whether you would prefer adjustment, correction, or refund
  • Allow us reasonable time to investigate and respond to your request

6. Damage During Transport

Although we handle all furniture with care, damage may occasionally occur during pickup or delivery. In such cases:

  • Report any damage immediately upon delivery
  • Document damage with photographs
  • Do not move or further handle damaged items
  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery to report the damage
  • Damage claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery

We will either repair the damage at no additional cost or provide a full or partial refund based on the extent of damage.

7. Warranty and Guarantee

All completed restoration work includes the following guarantee:

  • 12-month workmanship guarantee on all repairs and refinishing
  • Materials used are guaranteed against defects for the period specified by the manufacturer
  • Finishing products are guaranteed to maintain their protective properties for a minimum of one year under normal outdoor conditions
  • If workmanship issues develop within 12 months, we will correct them at no cost

This guarantee does not cover damage from abuse, accidents, extreme weather, or failure to follow care recommendations.

8. Maintenance and Care Instructions

To maintain your warranty and ensure your restored furniture lasts as long as possible:

  • Follow all care instructions provided after service completion
  • Clean your furniture regularly as recommended
  • Apply protective treatments seasonally
  • Store furniture properly during harsh weather
  • Use furniture covers for extended protection
  • Report any issues promptly to avoid further damage

Failure to follow care instructions may void portions of your warranty.

9. Special Requests and Custom Work

For specialized services, antique restoration, or custom work, specific terms may apply and will be outlined in your service agreement. These terms will supersede portions of this general Return Policy as they specifically relate to your custom work.

10. Disputes and Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding service quality or refund eligibility:

  • Contact us promptly with detailed information about the dispute
  • We will investigate the matter thoroughly and respond within 10 business days
  • If no resolution is reached, we will work with you to reach a fair agreement
  • Disputes will be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada
